Welcome to the Ventura County Chess Club, located in the foothills of Ventura, California.

Club meetings start at 6:30 generally on Tuesdays except for the second week of each month when it is usually Monday. See the Calendar on the right side of this page.

Continuous USCF rated tournaments as well as casual play available!

Regular membership is $35 per year, $25.00 per year for Seniors (over 60) or $17.50 for juniors and military.  Come by and check out the club - Refreshments are provided and visitors are welcome...

Players of all skill levels are welcome. In order to play in rated tournaments, you must be a member of the United States Chess Federation. VCCC membership is optional, but members enjoy discounted tournament entry fees.
